Marvel reveals plans for a big Luke Cage 50th day of remembrance
2022 will personify the fiftieth day of remembrance of Marvel Comics' Luke Cage, and the party has big plans for the indefinite-time Power Isle of Man.
The festivities kick-off two years early with the first issue of the Luke Cage in: City of Fire limited series by writer Ho Che Anderson, and that'll be followed up in Jan 2022 with the Luke Cage: Metropolis of Dismiss #2 - which we have the firstly take.
Luke Cage: City of Fire #2 will be drawn by Ray Anthony-Height, creator of the Midnight Panthera tigris series and artist happening Marvel books such as Moon Daughter & Devil Dinosaur, Star Wars: Doctor Aphra, and X-Men: Blue.

Newsarama has confirmed that Luke Cage: Urban center of Fire will be a tie-in to the concurrent Vex's Dominate event, which pits NYC mayor Kingbolt against Daredevil and any other vigilante that stands with him. In this Gospel of Luke Cage serial, the hero will glucinium protecting his city against a group of crooked cops career themselves the Regulators, who are outgoing to terrify his neighborhood at the order of Kingpin.
The triad-issue serial publication is expected to conclude in February 2022, with a self-collected edition of Luke Cage: Urban center on Fire on April 19, 2022.
Wonder will also be publishing the first Luke Cage in omnibus in 2022, collecting the first 16 issues of the original Luke Cage, Hero for Hire series, Eastern Samoa well equally the next 31 issues that were publicised under the new ledger title, Power Man. These issues were antecedently collected in terzetto Wonder Masterworks volumes published from 2015 to 2019.
